Time dances?

I took my blog name from the text of Verse 2 of Cary Ratcliff’s anthem “Praise God with Heart and Voice:”

“Earth shouts the praise of God;
Heavens hum God’s hidden wisdom;
Life sings his eye’s detail,
Distant oceans sound his power;
Stars storm the void with voice, speak creation’s rhymes;
Time dances the plans of God.”

All of Cary’s sacred choral music sparkles with vivid, creative imagery. This verse, especially, comes very close to my feelings when walking in the woods, observing a thunderstorm, watching wildlife, or leaning over a Maine tidepool as the waves crash in.
